Princess Beatrice of York (Beatrice Elizabeth Mary; born 8 August 1988) is a member of the British Royal Family. She is a daughter of The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York and the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Princess Beatrice is fifth and the first female in the Line of succession to the British Throne. She was the first Princess to be born into the immediate Royal family since the birth of Princess Anne in 1950.
